FAQ´S – What is WANNA BE A KNIGHT?
… is the name of the Nine Knights online video contest, that offers the first ever chance for everybody to enter the Nine Knights 2010 event. Additionally to the invited knights like Tom Wallisch, Henrik Harlaut, Laurent Favre, Bene Mayr & co., Nico Zacek for the first time opens the doors for central european media event of the season.
Who can enter?
The Online qualification is meant for all pro and amateur skiers from all over the world, who think that they have the talent to join the Nine Knights at having fun at the castle in fall 2010. The video qualification is open for everyone and the set-up is simple.
How can I submit my video?
All you need to do is to upload a video starring yourself on Vimeo, name it “Wanna be a Knight Nine Knights 2010 – Your Name” and then send the link and your contact information to nineknights@yahoo.de. By entering the competition you automatically agree to the rules and terms documented in the letter of agreement. Once we have placed your contribution under favorites on the Nine Knights Vimeo channel, it has officially entered the online video competition.
What should the video look like?
Step 1: Download the WANNA BE KNIGHT? pre-roll and put it before your video
Step 2: Ad some written information in the beginning of your edit about your name, age, origin.
Step 3: The movie should contain as many of the 9 pre-defined tricks as possible in the given orede. NOT ALL 9 ARE NECESSARY TO ENTER THE COMPETITION, THOUGH!Furthermore show us your 3 best personal tricks.
What kind of tricks should I do?

Do I have to be able to do every pre-defined trick?
No, you don´t have to be able to do each and every one, if you can do 7 out of those 9, you might be the best one applying, just should try to do as many as possible. Also the grabs don´t necessarily have to be the exact same ones.
Do I have to edit the movie myself?
Not the editing is the important part, it´s all about the riding. So let your friend do the computer work, if you want.
Can I watch the videos from the other riders?
Go to www.nineknights.com or our Subsite on www.downdays.eu and watch all submissions and updates.
Who will judge?
Last year’s Nine Knights will be the judges.
Till when do I have to submit my movie?
The deadline for submitting the video is March 15th 2010, the winner will be announced on March 31st 2010 via email and through a press notice.
